On a related note, our Treasurer, Eric Zimmerman, has alerted us to a continuing education opportunity: The Oregon Department of Transportation is holding their annual Surveyor’s Conference March 17-18. The conference will be virtual this year, and is open to both ODOT and non-ODOT employees, as well as surveyors and non-surveyors. Although the majority of our membership are currently land surveyors, our organization serves everyone utilizing GNSS professionally in Oregon. We aim to keep our membership informed of the constant change to all things related to GNSS, and provide educational meetings and occasional workshops throughout the year.
Dues are a bargain at $12/year, and entitle you to free attendance at our semi-annual meetings and presentations, typically held in January and summer of each year, as well as discounts to our workshops.
