With the Labor Day weekend nearly upon us already, we hope you are doing well.  A new learning opportunity has come to our attention:  The Professional Land Surveyors of Oregon  will be holding a Drone Mapping Symposium on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Lane Community College in Eugene.  A flyer is attached, and you can register using this link:  https://www.plso.org/dronemapping.  Membership in PLSO is not required to attend, although discounts are available for those who are members.

Also, space is still available for Oregon State University’s upcoming 2-day workshop, GNSS & Geodesy, to be held Thursday, September 12, through Friday, September 13, at the OSU campus in Corvallis.  More information and registration details can be found here:  https://gcapgeospatial.org/workshop-gnssgeodesy/.

Members and Friends of the Oregon GNSS Users Group,

Our Chair-Elect, Chase Simpson, will be co-presenting a workshop on GNSS & Geodesy in his role as a Senior Instructor at the Oregon State University School of Civil and Construction Engineering on September 12-13, 2024 in Corvallis, Oregon.  Several of our members have inquired over the years about such a workshop, and we’re happy to see that OSU has stepped up to provide this.  Details and registration information can be found here:  https://gcapgeospatial.org/workshop-gnssgeodesy/.
